Here are tips for safely prolonging the life of BLACK FADES's products.
1 / CANDLE INSTRUCTIONS
BURN TIME
75G Candle: May burn up to 20 hours.
200G Candle: May burn up to 50 hours.
180G Candle: May burn up to 45 hours.
1200G Candle: May burn up to 150 hours.
LIGHT
The first time you burn your BLACK FADES candle, allow it to burn for 1-2 hours with flame, to ensure the whole top is liquid with wax.
This will prevent the candle from tunneling. It’s best to make every burn this length of time, from the first to the last, to encourage your candle to keep burning evenly.
TRIM
Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to 3-5mm length. By shortening the wick you allow it to
burn more slowly and also avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the container.
BURN
Do not burn your candle longer than 2 hours. Always ensure the candle wax melts to the edges of the container to prevent tunneling.
Please remember to always keep an eye on your candle and only burn in well ventilated places.
EXTINGUISH
Candle lids are still the best way to extinguish your candle flame. By using the lid rather than blowing out, it reduces smoke, and, in the case of over-zealous
blowers, avoids the wax being disrupted and blown up the sides of the container. After extinguish your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.
FINAL
When you reach the end of your candle and it has fully cooled, the container can be refilled, recycled, cleaned out of any remaining wax and given a second life.
SAFETY
Burn within sight. / Away from children and pets. / Keep from things that catch fire. / Always leave at least 20cm between candles. / Do not burn more than 2 hours. /
Use the lid to extinguish the flame. / Trim the wick between uses, ensuring it is no longer than ¼ inch. / Natural interstice, and colour fades normally and safely.

2 / REED DIFFUSER INSTRUCTIONS
LASTS TIME
180ML Reed Diffuser: May lasts up to 4 months.
DIFFUSE
When using the BLACK FADES reed diffuser for the first time, put the fragrance concentrate bag into the container and shear level it with the container horizontally.
Use our diffuser lid to cover, insert 5 reeds and let it soak in the perfumed concentrate for 5 to 6 hours,
then drain them off into the inside of the container and turn them upside down. This will cause diffusion to start.
As the fragrance concentrate contains natural raw materials, its colour may vary slightly over time without this affecting the fragrances
USE
We recommend drain reeds off into the inside of the container and turn them upside down every 2 weeks. You can repeat this action several times to reactivate the fragrance diffusion.
FINAL
When you reach the end of your reed diffuser, the container can be refilled, recycled, cleaned out of any remaining oil and given a second life.
SAFETY
Do not burn the reed. / Keep away from heat/sparks/flames/hot surfaces. / Do not swallow. / Avoid all kind contact. / If eye irritation, rinse cautiously with water and

3 / INCENSE INSTRUCTIONS
PLACE
When using BLACK FADES incense, secure in an incense holder or other non-flammable vessel.
Use only in a well-ventilated are and ensure surface are protected from falling ash
LIGHT
Light the end of the incense and fan out the flame. Handle any smouldering incense with care: it remains flammable even in the absence of a flame.
FINAL
When you reach the end of your incense, the container can be recycled, cleaned out of any remaining oil and given a second life.
SAFETY

4 / FRAGRANCE OIL INSTRUCTIONS
USE
Using BLACK FADES fragrance oil, add three to five drops to the oil burner/scented potpourri/wood/diffuser.
FINAL
When you reach the end of your fragrance oil, the container can be refilled, recycled, cleaned out of any remaining oil and given a second life.
SAFETY

5 / BODY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
LASTS TIME
300ML Shower Gel: May lasts up to 1-2 hours.
300ML Shampoo: May lasts up to 1-2 hours.
300ML Body Oil: May lasts up to 2 hours.
300ML Hand Wash: May lasts up to 1-2 hours.
USE
SHOWER GEL: Dispense into hands or onto a sea sponge. Massage onto soaked skin from neck to toe, then rinse thoroughly.
SHAMPOO: Dispense desired amount into hands, then massage onto wet scalp. Rinse thoroughly.
BODY OIL: Multipurpose usage as massage and bath oil. Dispense desired amount into hands, then massage onto wet/dry skin, then rinse thoroughly.
HAND WASH: Dispense into damp hands, lather, then rinse thoroughly.
FINAL
When you reach the end of your body care, the bottle can be recycled, cleaned out of any remaining and given a second life.
